
The older I get the more I realise how important it is to take care of my body and mind. I'm 46 this year and have finally learned what works for me:

1️⃣Walked daily.
2️⃣Properly strength trained.
3️⃣STOPPED skipping meals & working out fasted.
4️⃣Ate 30-50g protein 3x daily.
5️⃣Started to eat more fibre (veggies, fruits & grains).
6️⃣Changed from a DIET mindset to an ATHLETE mindset.
7️⃣Set proper strength goals rather than weight related goals.
8️⃣I used bad days as an opportunity to learn rather than give up.
9️⃣I stayed CONSISTENT not PERFECT.
🔟I leaned on determination NOT motivation.
👉🏻BONUS TIP:
I delved deep into my “why” and the core reason my fitness goals are important to me. Being a good example to my kids and my clients is a big WHY for me. You need to find your “WHY”. 🤔
This is huge. Interestingly the clients I have who also do this enjoy the most success!
