The relationship between a PT and client is an important one based on trust, mutual respect and a set of common goals created together.  It is therefore vitally important for you to ensure you make the right decision when choosing your PT.

Read on for more information around how to choose the right PT for you.

1.

Ask trusted friends, family or colleagues for recommendations. This is an excellent place to start.

2.

Google every recommendation. (Really!) Google can give you a lot of information you won't find anywhere else!

3.

Check out their website.  What are their qualifications? Is there a good description of their services? What's their pricing structure like? Does their website have spelling or grammatical errors (attention to detail)?

4.

Send an email enquiry to them. How quickly to they respond? Are they able to offer you a telephone consultation?

5.

Speak to them! You should get a good feel as to whether they are the right person for you when you talk to them.  Do they make you feel at ease? Are they prepared and interested in finding out about your goals?

6.

Do they have references/testimonials or reviews? These really are an invaluable tool when choosing any service but especially important when working closely on a one-to-one basis.

7.

Take your time making a decision. It needs to be the right environment for you to thrive and get the most from each training session.
